The summer nights will be full of stars when Taimane Gardner kicks off the 11th annual Sunset Serenade concert series from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 20 at Hawaii Kai Towne Center.

Fresh off the release of her newest album, We Are Made of Stars, Gardner will bring genre-defying, celestial-themed ukulele tunes to the Waterfront Stage. Though she got her start on the streets of Waikiki, Gardner’s now on the brink of a world tour to venues in Canada, Hong Kong, Samoa, Malaysia and California later this year.

Attendees are advised to arrive early to the free show for the best seats, as well as the chance to browse table stations with services, food and merchandise from center vendors. Drop by the center’s table near the entrance to enter a prize drawing.

Future concerts will feature Hawaii Kai’s own Maunalua (July 18) and HAPA (Aug. 22).
