On a recent Thursday, Roy Storaasli went to pick up a custom-made screen he ordered at City Mill in Waimalu. As he paid for his purchase, MidWeek‘s representative approached Roy with a simple question. He answered correctly and instantly won a $150 City Mill shopping spree.

“I like shopping at City Mill because it’s convenient — I live in Pearl City, so it’s close by,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, a retired Aloha Airlines aircraft mechanic. “Also, they have a lot of specialty items that coincide with fixtures I have at my house. And the staff is very friendly.”

Roy was born and raised in Palolo Valley, and graduated from Saint Louis School in 1957. In his free time, he enjoys tinkering with cars, reading and going on cruises with wife Marlene. He also likes to read MidWeek.

“I like the articles,” he said. “Especially the columns by Jerry Coffee, Bob Jones and Ron Nagasawa. He always has something funny to say.”
