Register For WCC Classes In Waimanalo

The start of the 2014-2015 school year creeps closer every day, but there’s still time for aspiring students to apply for fall classes at Windward Community College — and to make things even simpler, WCC will provide free, one-on-one assistance for applicants from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today (July 30) at Waimanalo Homestead Association Halau.

Counselors, financial aid advisers, recruitment and outreach specialists, student peer mentors and more all will be on hand to walk people through each step of the process. A light dinner also will be provided to attendees.

“They will get our full attention with full services, from applying and accepting health clearances, to registering and setting a schedule for their fall classes,” stated WCC outreach specialist Gus Cobb-Adams.

A second session is scheduled for 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug. 9 during the Gabby Pahinui Waimanalo Kanikapila at Waimanalo Beach Park.
