Parade Winners Living On Thru Judges’ Votes

Kailua Chamber of Commerce judges have announced the winners of the July 4 parade, where marchers vied for recognition on a “True Blue Kailua theme.”

The winners and their categories are below:

Best Overall, Yogarden; Commercial Unit and Best Use of Theme, Wee Achievers Preschool;

Nonprofit Unit, Windward United Church of Christ; Dancing/Music Unit, Vai Ole Ola o Kailua; Junior Marching Unit, Hawaii Pathfinders; Senior Marching Unit, Kailua Senior Citizens Club; Band Unit, U.S. Marine Corps; Float, Castle Medical Center; and Military/Veterans Unit, Korean War Veterans.
