Culinary Walks In Chinatown

Chinese Chamber of Commerce, 9:30 a.m., $10, includes samples and snacks. Discover the rich culture and history of Honolulu’s Chinatown with the 2-3 hour walking tour with food writer Anthony Chang. Food Tours

Hawaii’s Plantation Village

Hawaii’s Plantation Village, Waipahu, call for time, $10 for adults, $7 for kamaaina and military and senior citizens, $4 for youth. Step back in time and experience cultural diversity in The Friends of Waipahu Cultural Garden Park tours of the historic plantation village. Ongoing Monday through Saturday. (677-0110)

Historic Hawaii Theatre Tours

Japanese Language Tours

The Diamond Head Story

Shangri La, the Hawaiian home of heiress and philanthropist Doris Duke, opened for guided tours. The Islamic-style residence offers visitors a rare opportunity to explore Islamic art and culture in a stunning Hawaiian setting.
