Creating Self Portraits
Art Explorium, 1142 Koko Head Ave., Thursdays in November, 4-5:30 p.m., $15/day, ages 7 and up. Students will get to work with plaster, water color, transparencies, paint, and various drawing materials. Infant Safety

Veterans Day Sunset Ceremony
Battleship Missouri Memorial – Fantail, Pearl Harbor, 4:30-5:30 p.m., free. The last Veterans Day ceremony in the nation will pay tribute to the sacrifice of all our nation’s veterans. (1-877-644-4896)

Wahiawa Lions Veterans Day Parade
Parade starts at Kaala Elementary School and ends at Wahiawa District Park, 10 a.m., free. Wahiawa Lions lead the traditional parade to ceremonies and a program at the park featuring a WWII aircraft flyover, massing of the colors and more. (621-0852)

Salute to Our Heroes
Wet ‘n’ Wild Hawaii, 400 Farrington Hwy., 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m., free for military. Wet ‘n’ Wild honors military and first responders with free admission (half-off for friends and family with a military or first-responder) to the park, plus games and prize giveaways. (674-9283)
