Lions’ Lau Lau A Boon To Kahaluu Club’s Service To Community

The Kahaluu Lions Club is fist-deep in lau lau this month as it prepares for its major benefit sale Aug. 16.

The club is taking orders now for its homemade lau lau, available for $3.75 each, to support its many service projects to local schools and to the community at large.

“The lau lau are all hand-made by our Lions members, and they are ono,” declared Lion Bob Putes.

Pickup is from 8 to 11 a.m. Aug. 16 at KEY Project, 47-200 Waihee Road.
