King Sets ‘Transition’ For Incoming Parents

Moving from grade school to middle school can be difficult, and King Intermediate School gets it.

In partnership with Parents for Public Schools of Hawaii and the school’s Title I program, King will present “Your Child’s Transition to Intermediate School” from 6:30 to 8 p.m. May 9 in Room I-2. It’s free, with child care and refreshments.

Parents and educators will discuss “What I Want my Parents to Know” (child’s point of view), “What’s Happening to my Kid?,” “Joys and Challenges of the Age” (with King counselors and staff) and other concerns.

To RSVP, call Pam at 233-5727, ext. 231 or visit ppshi.org.

The first 50 people to preregister will receive a free copy of Steven Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families.
