BACK IN HAWAII … and what a nice surprise to find Priscilla Presley seated a couple rows ahead on the flight from Memphis to L.A. The day before I shared the stage with her and Lisa Marie, Mrs. Tom Parker and some of Elvis‘s buddies before a huge crowd outside Graceland. In chatting about the January 2013 Elvis celebration in Honolulu, Priscilla told me that she would be in London at that time appearing on stage in Snow White … for 65 performances! …

My beautiful wife Sweetie and I arrived in L.A. in time to attend the birthday party at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills for our dear friend Judy Tannen, whom I first met through Teddy Randazzo shortly after Teddy’s first Show of Stars appearance at the Civic Auditorium in 1958. Since then, Judy’s been the “right arm” for Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme, who were there along with a roomful of Hollywood celebrities who included Bob “RJ” Wagner and Jill St. John, Glen Larson, Frankie Avalon, Mike “Mannix” Conners, and the following comics – each of whom aimed a few hilarious words directly at Judy – Bob Newhart, Tim Conway, Shecky Green and Don Rickles. As RJ said when I ran into him the next afternoon at Mr. Chow, “That was some party!” …

Our last stop before heading home was Dodger Stadium, as guests in Larry King‘s box, to watch Maui’s Shane Victorino and the Dodgers play the San Francisco Giants …

B’Ballers Baron Davis, Al Harrington and Stephen Jackson were among the elite guests at the Oceanside Oasis nuptials of actress Tichina Arnold and Rico Hines, assistant men’s basketball coach at Saint John’s University …

We all know Kim Kardashian was in town last week with boyfriend Kanye West while he worked on his album … which usually means other celebs made their way to the island, too … like Azealia Banks, who tweeted, “I’m going to Honolulu tomorrow.
