Kapolei High Has Relay For Life

American Cancer Society hosts its Relay For Life for Leeward Oahu from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Friday and Saturday on the Kapolei High School athletic field.

The event kicks off with an opening ceremony, and at 7:15 p.m., cancer survivors from Makaha to Aiea and from Ewa Beach to Wahiawa will be honored with the Survivor’s Lap. At 9 p.m., there will be a Luminaria ceremony to remember those lost to cancer and honor those who have survived.

The cancer society is dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by saving lives, diminishing suffering and preventing cancer through research, education, advocacy and service.
