Kaiser Clinic Now A One-stop Shop

Kaiser Permanente patients now are able to visit their physician and fill their prescriptions in a single visit with the recent opening of the Kapolei Clinic Pharmacy.

The clinic, which is adjoined to the pharmacy, provides family medicine, laboratory services and diabetic eye screening. The pharmacy opened its doors Nov. 4.

“Kapolei is one of Oahu’s fastest growing areas, and we’re excited to add more services for the community,” stated Janet Liang, president of Kaiser Permanente Hawaii.

“The new pharmacy is the 11th location in our pharmacy network on Oahu, providing easy and convenient access for our members.”

The pharmacy is integrated with Kaiser Permanente’s electronic health record system, called KP HealthConnect. The system allows patients to fill prescriptions, schedule appointments and more electronically.

“Patients now will be able to see their doctor and fill their prescription in a single visit, saving them valuable time and improving their care experience,” explained Dr. Stacey Honda, associate medical director, ancillary specialties, for Hawaii Permanente Medical Group.

“We are excited and honored to enhance the Kapolei community’s care experience with this new pharmacy.”

The pharmacy is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. However, it is closed from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. daily.

Kapolei Clinic Pharmacy is located in Kaiser’s Kapolei Clinic at 599 Farrington Hwy. For more information, call 432-3100 or visit kp.org.
