HAWAII’S GOT A new indie film project on Kickstarter titled I Am Haloa, helmed by Torry Tukuafu, Daniel Anthony, Vince Keala Lucero, Keala Kelly and Alohi Ae’a. The proposed documentary follows three high school students as they journey through the Islands in search of cultural and historical enlightenment, with the cultivation, preparation and consumption of our traditional Hawaiian staple, poi, as a catalyst for knowledge.
