Japan Consulate Reception For Earthquake Victims

The Consulate General of Japan and Onagawa Town Delegation co-hosted a reception April 9 to thank the people of Hawaii for their support after the Japan earthquake and tsunami. At the reception at the Consulate General’s Nuuanu headquarters, letters were presented to the U.S. military in recognition of their support during the recovery efforts. In addition, specialty food products from Onagawa town were served.
