CELEBRATING 50 YEARS of entertainment in Honolulu! Blaisdell Arena, formerly Honolulu International Center (or H.I.C.) Arena, opened its doors in 1964, making next year its golden anniversary. To mark the occasion, The Beach Boys, the first major headliners to appear at the new venue in ’64 – also celebrating their 50th anniversary – will return for a special concert Jan 12. Reserved tickets go on sale this Friday (Dec. 13) at 9 a.m. at Blaisdell Box Office and all Ticketmaster outlets, including Walmart. A special commemorative souvenir poster for all ticket-buyers is part of the admission price of $65 …
