Wish Upon A Cure At Relay For Life

More than 500 people participated in American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life July 20 at Magic Island. This year’s theme was “Wish Upon a Cure,” and the event raised over $60,000 to fight cancer in Hawai‘i. Samaritan Counseling Center HI Day

Samaritan Counseling Center Hawai‘i celebrates 30 years of service to individuals, families and communities in need of mental health counseling. Its main office opened at First United Methodist Church in 1989, and has since grown to six counseling offices on O‘ahu, with more than 8,202 individuals and families receiving services through 73,844 counseling sessions.

The City & County of Honolulu also proclaimed April 10, 2019, as Samaritan Counseling Center Hawai‘i Day.
