Miss Hawaii USA 2014
Where and with whom did you see the movie?
I saw Hercules at Ward Theaters with my boyfriend.
Overall what did you think?
At first, to be honest, I was a little skeptical about seeing Hercules. I was afraid that since, the movie was a revisionists take on the ancient Greek myth it would be overplayed or just not to my liking. But after watching the movie, I was impressed with how director Brett Ratner was able to make Hercules the movie entertaining! Filled with just the right amount of action, but also comedy, it just worked.
Without giving away the ending, what was one of your favorite scenes?
I don’t have a particular scene. If anything, I would have to say all the action shots, seeing The Rock kick some butt was pretty awesome!
On a scale of one to four stars, what would you rate this film?
What did you think of the cinematography?
The cinematography was awesome. The technique of how both shooting and development of the movie, came together — I thought it was a very nice collaboration of the two.
Was the message/theme clear?
Who would you recommend this movie to?
Fans of The Rock, or anyone who is down to see some good butt-kicking and comedy.
Did any of the actors stand out?
I was thoroughly shocked and impressed by Dwayne Johnson’s performance. You could feel every emotion, and he nailed playing Hercules.
Did you identify with any of the characters?
Did the soundtrack contribute significantly to the film?
Would you buy this movie when it comes out on DVD?
What’s your favorite movie snack?
Popcorn and M&Ms are a must!
