Helen Takara Wins A $250 Shopping Spree At Times

Helen Takara needed some groceries for the weekend, so on Saturday she took a trip to Times Super Market in Kahala. As she made her purchase at 2:40 p.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Helen with a simple question. She answered correctly and instantly won a $250 Times shopping spree.

“I like shopping at Times because the people are friendly and their produce is really fresh,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, a printer for First Hawaiian Bank. “And they have everything I need.”

A graduate of Kaimuki High School, Helen has one daughter, and enjoys eating and crafting. She also likes to read MidWeek.

“It’s very informative,” she said. “I look at everything, and I often see people I haven’t seen in awhile in some of the photos. Also, I like the coupons and ads.”
