Talk about déjà vu … Pat Sajak and Joe Moore, starring in Moore’s adapted play Wrestling with Hemingway at Hawaii Theatre, were at dinner when they were approached by a couple who, 13 years earlier, ran into them in the very same location. The couple politely declined, saying they already had tickets to the show, which runs until June 29 … Quick review: I thoroughly enjoyed the opening performance! Congrats to Moore, Sajak, Loretta Ables Sayre and the talented cast and technicians who make for a very entertaining show. Not to be missed …

Spotted during an intimate family vacation: Hart of Dixie star Jaime King, director/producer hubby Kyle Newman and son James engaged in all the requisite beach activities … while Oklahoma City Thunder basketball star Kevin Durant unwound after the NBA playoffs with a stay at the Four Seasons Resort on Maui …

And, living up to the hype about being rich and from Beverly Hills, they drove around town in a pair of Bentleys …

This week in 1969: The Sunshine Pleasure Fair, billed as “2 Days Of Freedom and Flowers,” is held at Waikiki Shell, drawing about 14,000 people. Featuring food booths, yoga instruction, a tug-of-war contest and handmade goods, the fair includes plenty of music from Cauldron, The Theater of Madness, The Goldrush Blues Band and Pilferige Sump. Also featured: the showing of The Beatles film Magical Mystery Tour — and, at 5 p.m. each day, a flower drop from a helicopter hovering over the Shell with yours truly leaning out and tossing about 5,000 carnations to the excited crowd below … And the No. 1 record is Get Back by The Beatles …
