He joined Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii and has served as a board of director and executive officer since 2007.

He will be based at The Kahala and will oversee meetings and incentive sales for southwestern U.S., Hawaii, Oceania and Europe markets.

He has a bachelor of commerce in accounting from Santa Clara University and previously worked as a senior manager for the company, joining Accuity LLC and its predecessor PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in 1998. A Punahou School graduate, Nakamura has been in the accounting industry for 16 years.
