Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Frank Santos was recently named U.S. Postal Service’s Honolulu District manager. Santos will be responsible for managing 2,500 employees and all of the Postal Service’s mail processing, delivery, retail and customer service operations in Hawaii, Guam, Saipan, Rota and American Samoa. He is a 38-year postal employee who began his career as a clerk in Kalaheo.
Terri Funakoshi has been promoted to officer and director of Pomare Ltd., the parent company to Hilo Hattie. Funakoshi will work with its accounting as well as executive vice president of merchandising.
Carol KatoCarol Kato has been promoted from compliance officer to vice president and Banking Secrecy Act officer in First Hawaiian Bank’s BSA Division. Kato will oversee the management of the BSA Division and ensure that the bank’s employees adhere to BSA/AML policies, procedures and processes.
Russ GreenleafRuss Greenleaf has been welcomed onboard the agricultural team for Hawaii operations by Bio-Logical Capital. Greenleaf has spent the last eight years developing a sustainable food-based nonprofit that has worked with thousands of participants to establish regenerative food gardens in schools, prisons, community centers and special-education residential facilities.
Acachia SchrimiAcachia Schriml has been hired as customer service supervisor for Farmers Insurance Hawaii. Schriml is responsible for directing and developing the auto insurance customer advocate team. She was previously a service representative at Geico.
