Polynesian Cultural Center was packed on opening night, Oct. 5, with eager families waiting in line for some chills and thrills at the annual Haunted Lagoon. With this year’s theme, “Dreams and Nightmares,” waiting areas and the lagoon sported a mix of theatrical elements including fantasy, horror and state-of-theart special effects.
