Free Comics For Card Holders

Aiea and Kapolei libraries will join in the worldwide celebration of Free Comic Book Day this Saturday, and will give a free comic book – while supplies last – to each patron with a valid library card.

A variety of comic books will be available for all ages, such as the DC Nation Super Sampler #1, Disney Fairies, Star Wars, Walking Dead Special and more, depending on each library. Eight other Oahu branches will do the same, and some will have costumed characters and intergalactic heroes in attendance, courtesy of the 501st Imperial Legion Pacific Outpost, Rebel Legion Hawaii and Costumers Build of Hawaii.
