Focus on East Oahu

Sachi Yorkston, 5 (center), is the first 2012 winner of HECO's Energy Detective Energy Pledge drawing. Sachi (with sister Michi and proud dad Malcolm) shows the Energy Conservation Kit she won for her conservation pledge. The Yorkston home has a wind turbine generator, and they compost and recycle.
