FLAG-J at Ala Moana Center

FLAG-J celebrated its one-year anniversary in Hawaii with a special event recently at The Modern Honolulu with DJ Taboo of The Black Eyed Peas.

The shoe store, located at Ala Moana Center (street level, mauka side of the mall), is by Japan-based Akakura, and is popular with many young trendsetters. In Japan, there are 15 FLAG-J stores, including one in Tokyo’s famous fashion district, Shibuya.

“Our shopper is a trendsetter who makes bold and fashion-forward statements with her outfits and lifestyle,” says office manager Lea Newman. “She is up-to-date on the latest in fashion, and makes seasonal trends her own.
