T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST

Hospice Hawaii is holding a T-shirt design contest in preparation of its fourth annual Hot Pursuit fundraising event April 20, 2013. The winning design will be printed on all event T-shirts and will receive a $500 prize. The contest is open to all ages, and entries must be submitted via upload to hospicehawaii.org by midnight Feb. 25.

Contestants are challenged to create an original design that features the Hot Pursuit logo, Hospice Hawaii logo and event date. The design must fit within a 10-by-10-inch space to be displayed on the front of the shirt, and can use no more than four spot colors. The winner will be notified by March 25.

Hot Pursuit, which is similar to the TV show Amazing Race, is held each year at Ward Centers. Like the show, participating teams solve a puzzle or complete a task at one location to get the clue to the next location in a dash to the finish. Prizes are awarded to the fastest teams and top fundraisers. All the funds raised for Hot Pursuit help Hospice Hawaii in its mission to bring hope, reduce fears, and impact the lives of patients and their families. For more information, call 924-9255.

FUKUBUKURO AT ROYAL HAWAIIAN CENTER
