Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Awards Gala
National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Honolulu Branch recently hosted its 13th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Awards Gala at Honolulu Country Club. The night, among many things, recognized Kathryn Waddell Takara as the 2016 recipient of the NAACP Lifetime Achievement Award for Distinguished Service.
