DFS Galleria Waikiki at SACS in the City
The Junior League of Honolulu hosted its ninth annual SACS in the City fundraiser in collaboration with DFS Galleria Waikiki March 16 at Sheraton Waikiki. In attendance were 450 fashion-forward friends and guests enjoying a three-course luncheon and runway show by DFS Galleria Waikiki, as well as a silent auction of luxurious designer handbags and more. The event generated close to $92,000, and proceeds will benefit local community service projects for women and teen girls in need, such as Wahine Forum (an annual conference that promotes the importance of women in the work-place), My Story (a nine-week mentorship program that promotes self-esteem for teen girls) and Kids in the Kitchen (year-round educational events about healthy meals and active lifestyles).
