Constructing A New Year’s Kadomatsu
Windward Community College Hale Kuhina 115, 5:30-8:30 p.m., $25 plus $20 lab fee. Learn about this Japanese New Year’s tradition through history and hands-on construction. Materials provided to make and take home two finished Kadomatsu. (235-7433)

Dahn Yoga

Deaf Santa Celebration

Traditions of the Pacific Lecture

Yuzu Karaoke Challenge Pre-Lims
Yuzu at Ala Moana Hotel, Thursdays through Dec. 19, 7-8:30 p.m., free to enter the challenge, two-drink minimum for all contestants and audience members, ages 21 and older. Yuzu presents its first Yuzu Karaoke Challenge. Participants must be amateurs and soloists, and the chosen song must be in Walter Karaoke’s song list. Finals take place Dec. 26. (

A Christmas Carol
