As Legends in Concert Waikiki celebrates its two-year anniversary, we have a lot to look forward to as we reach new heights with our one-of-a-kind Rock-AHula show. Based in the Royal Hawaiian Theater, this $20 million live concert experience takes audiences from yesteryear to today with an all-star cast of tribute artists.

Many residents may not know that Legends is a Las Vegas-based company celebrating 30 years on the Strip, with eight different locations around the world featuring a rotating cast of 80 stars. What’s especially unique about our Waikiki show is that it’s our only production to incorporate local culture and history.
From Hawaiian hula and Tahitian dance to video of Elvis Presley performing in Hawaii to the fragrance of plumeria, our Rock-A-Hula show captures the local flavor of the Islands. Over the past two years, we’ve said aloha to several different tribute artists, who have joined our kama’aina dancers and live band. This month, we welcome Garry Moore as Little Richard and Cynthia Minx as Whitney Houston, who will take the stage alongside Katie Murdock as Britney Spears, Corey Melton as Michael Jackson and Wahiawa native Johnny Fortuno as Elvis.
As the COO of Legends, I began my entertainment management career while working with numerous country stars and Broadway shows throughout the United States. While managing a live entertainment theater complex 13 years ago in Myrtle Beach, I was approached by Legends to do marketing and management. After working with “real celebrities,” I was somewhat hesitant about working with tribute artists. But as soon as I saw them perform, I was blown away by these truly talented and professionally trained artists and actors.
