The crowd turned out in force under warm, clear Windward skies for the Chip in For Castle Charity Golf Tournament. Held at Mid- Pacific Country Club on Aug. 28, the 16th annual event supports the area’s only major hospital and its busy, growing wellness center. The medical center provides a wide range of emergency and in- and out-patient services for Windward residents. Even veteran golf tournament duffers can appreciate a CMC physician’s touch on their aching joints and bones after a long day of friendly competition for a good cause. Staffed by more than 200 doctors, 1,000 employees and 200 volunteers, Castle has also been named one of the “top 25” best places to work in Hawaii.
