Benefit The Fast and the Flawless Sephora $48

A lot of us feel like we don’t have time for makeup. And because of this, a lot of us don’t even try to put it on (most of the time, anyway). But what if you could look great in as little time as possible, with the help of just a few products you could buy in one fell swoop? And what if all these amazing products came with step-by-step instructions ... AND a mouse pad to boot? This actually exists! It’s called The Fast and the Flawless and it was dreamed up by Benefit (of course). It includes four key Benefit products: Some Kind-a Gorgeous, Eye Bright, Get Bent Lash and a Benetint deluxe sample. Use the lesson to learn how to get flawless skin in mere minutes, and use the mouse pad ... well, for your mouse.

Bumble and bumble Crème de Coco Masque

Bumble and bumble launched Crème de Coco Shampoo and Conditioner in 2005, and since then the luxurious coconut-scented pair has been a best-seller. The newest product in the Crème de Coco line is Crème de Coco Masque, a weekly treatment that leaves hair so soft, silky and glossy that you’ll be constantly touching your own locks. Crème de Coco Masque uses coconut and avocado oils, tropical butters (mango, shea and murumuru), and botanical extracts (mallow, olive leaf, nettle) to create a rich and creamy moisturizing masque for all hair types. This masque is especially good for dry and/or dull hair—the results will amaze you. Bumble and bumble suggests using the masque with heat for added benefit, so wrap your head in a warm towel or sit outside for a few minutes with the masque on.

CLARINS PURE MELT CLEANSING GEL Macy’s $30

Cleansing oils have been all the rage for the past few years now. While the idea of using oil to remove impurities from your face may seem counterintuitive, it actually works like a charm—proven by their increasing popularity. You can with Clarins’ new Pure Melt Cleansing Gel. It starts as a gel and then transforms into an oil that melts into your skin, removing makeup and impurities. Alterna Science of Ten x VOSS Water
Limited Edition
$300 Beauty Outlet Supply Store

Alterna makes great hair-care products—high performance, super luxurious and revitalizing. The Science of Ten line improves hair from the inside by rebalancing and nourishing, protecting against color fade and guarding hair from the environment. And it’s sulfate-free and uses natural ingredients including African cacao extract, Italian white truffle, French grape seed oil, Moroccan quillaia bark, evening primrose and arnica. All of this equals stronger hair, and that means better-looking and better-feeling hair. This limited edition Alterna set uses VOSS pure artesian water from Norway in its shampoo and conditioner formulas. The combination of pure VOSS water and Alterna’s Science of Ten formula is so lavish, it’s only available as a limited edition. But the best thing about this collaboration—all proceeds go to WaterAid, the international charity helping people to get safe water and escape poverty and disease caused by lack of safe water.

Tarte Double Dose Berry Boost & Gloss
Sephora $21

This is not just gloss. Seriously, it’s way more than that.

Here’s what you’ll see on your lips when you put it on: gloss, high shine and subtle yet striking color. And here’s what you can’t see: The Tarte T5 Super Fruit Complex, a blend of goji, acai, maracuja, acerola and pomegranate - the five most active super fruits. This blend is packed with antioxidants, which are said to refine and restore, diminishing signs of aging. With this product you get a double dose—gloss and antioxidant protection, hence the name. Multi-tasking was never this pretty.

Cargo TexasLash Mascara Sephora $20

What’s big? Texas. So if you want Texas-sized lashes, this is the mascara you need to have now. Get maximum volume and length with just one swipe. The brush is super-big and fat (similar to DiorShow), so it’s easy to get product onto the lashes. TexasLash Mascara uses a new formula that forms tubes around the lashes so they are smudge-proof, flake-proof and run-proof. The only thing you’ll have are the biggest, baddest lashes in the whole U. S. of A. Yeehaw!

Bumble and Bumble Spray de Mode

Chop Salon $13.50 (4 oz.)

A serious hairdo requires serious hairspray (just ask Project Runway winner Christian Siriano). Hairspray aficionados will tell you that hairspray comes in many forms, from super strong hold to extra light, with all of the nasty side effects (too sticky, too light, too stinky, anyone?). That’s why Bumble and Bumble’s new Spray de Mode is the most amazing hairspray out there now. Used as a finishing spray or an actual styling tool (try spraying it on before using a curling iron to create weightless waves), Spray de Mode holds styles and creates them. You can create and keep shape at the same time with this great-smelling versatile spray.

Benihana For Beginners

Everyone knows Benihana, right? It’s the original Japanese-style teppanyaki restaurant. The founder, Rocky Aoki, is credited with bringing this style of eating to the U.S. and then some. Besides shrimp, steak, lobster, chicken, scallop, crab legs, garlic fried rice and more cooked right in front of you, you get a serious show. Benihana chefs are masters of what Benihana calls “eatertainment,” so you get not only an amazingly delicious meal (butter and shoyu are used together for a perfect creamy and salty flavor, and a ginger sauce and a mustard sauce are used for dipping each bite), but you also get an onion volcano! If you can’t envision what an onion volcano looks like, you’ll just have to see it to believe it. If you haven’t tried Benihana yet, you need to go. You’ll want to eat there every night. Or at least a couple of nights a week, which SMART admits to doing recently. In fact, just writing about it right now makes us start thinking about shrimp being magically flipped onto our plate ...

Stila Cherry Crush Lip & Cheek Stain Sephora $24

Remember those lipsticks that came in green or blue or yellow and were supposed to “adapt” to your coloring when you applied them? They were sort of like mood rings, but in lipstick form. With Stila’s new Cherry Crush Lip & Cheek Stain, the same idea applies. Cherry Crush (which works on lips and cheeks) reacts to your pH levels and creates a unique and personalized color just for you. The bonus: It’s scented like a freshly picked cherry, and also contains cherry and pomegranate extracts to give you antioxidant protection, as well as vitamins A, C and E to provide moisture and even more antioxidants. And it’s basically two products in one, since you can use it as a blush and a lip color. How can you lose?
