She most recently served as assistant vice president of marketing and communications for Aloha United Way as well as an adjunct professor for advertising and business communications at Hawaii Pacific University.

Ho’s responsibilities will continue to include overseeing retail banking, commercial banking and investment services. He will also continue his duties as chief banking officer and serve as a member of the bank’s Managing Committee and board of directors.
Gary Fujitani has been appointed executive director of the Hawaii Bankers Association (HBA). As executive director, he will be the spokes-person for the Hawaii banking industry and an advocate for the state’s economic vitality and sustainability. Fujitani has more than 35 years of Hawaii banking experience.
Keith Sakamoto has been named a director of the Hawaii Youth Symphony (HYS). Sakamoto also serves as president of Hawaiian Host Inc. and has experience in all aspects of of business, including sales and marketing, operations, finance and administration. Prior to joining Hawaiian Host, he was vice president and CFO of Honolulu-based Pacific Marine.
Linda C. Miki has been named president and chief operating officer of Group 70 International Inc. Miki will continue to be the principal-in-charge of computer operations and the Computer Aided Assets Management Division. She joined the architectural firm in 1989 and previously served as executive vice president.
Gene Peles has been named management executive for Hawaiiana Management Company Ltd. Peles is a retired master sergeant of the U.S. Army and prior to joining the company served as general manager for Evergreen International Airlines.

She most recently served as convention sales coordinator at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. In her current position, Togafau’s duties will include meeting with potential clients to customize menus for parties and events and creating menus and budgets to meet clients’ needs.
Sara Grove has been appointed assistant box office manager for Hawaii Theatre Center. She was formerly the box office/tour manager for Honolulu Theatre for Youth before joining Hawaii Theatre Center last October. Grove has more than seven years’ experience in theatre and box-office management.
Madeline Duffey has been promoted to human resources manager for Accuity LLP. Duffey has 11 years’ experience working in human resources. In her new position, she will supervise the human resources department, including payroll, benefits, training and HR systems.
Etsuko Arnold has been promoted to concierge manager - Honu Ohana Suite for the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. She previously served as service express assistant manager at Honu Ohana Suite. Arnold has been with the Sheraton since 2006.
