Rod Tam is so lucky to live in Hawaii and be a politician. Now, if he was a politician in China and he was charged with the same charges as here, we all know what his sentence would be.

Bob Jones can choose to live a God-less life, to associate with homosexuals and anti-Americans, and to promote a secular way of life, but he should not condemn an organization that promotes faith in God, heterosexuality, patriotism and the ethical and moral behavior taught by the Boy Scout code.

I would like to commend Jerry Coffee for his expose of President Obama’s mispronunciation of “corpsmen.” This “connects the dots” and proves what Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh have been saying all along: Obama is a socialist who hates the military.

The planned Honolulu mass transit system serves the area and people from Ewa to the university. While all of Honolulu county will pay, they will receive no benefit. By all accounts, the traffic lessening and shorter commute times will only affect the areas getting transit.

It doesn’t matter if there is a homosexual gene or not, as S. Williams indicated in a recent letter. Most people are born right-handed, some are born left. Most people are born straight, but some homosexual. Neither is a learned or chosen behavior. In either case, none of us got to choose which orientation we wanted to be. We are what we are.
