The East-West Center has partnered with Tori Richard to produce limited-edition aloha shirts exclusively designed for the center’s 50th anniversary.

Four designs are available - two for men and two for women - with the East-West Center logo subtly embroidered on the left sleeve.

The men’s shirt is a block style print with enhanced batik crackle, available in blue or red, and is 100 percent cotton broadcloth, a very durable and easy-care fabric.

One women’s design is a clean monotone print playing on positive and negative spaces with a mix of tropical and paisley motifs, while the other blends bamboo and orchids to create a feeling of serenity.

The women’s blouses are 100 percent viscose, which feels and drapes like silk. The men’s shirts cost $45 (available in sizes small, medium, large, X-large and XX-large) and the women’s $40 (available in sizes X-small, small, medium, large and X-large).

The aloha shirts can be ordered online at http://www.eastwestcenter.org/alumni/ewca-conferences/2010-hawaii/ewc-50th-anniversary-aloha-shirt/, and will be distributed at the East-West Center Alumni Conference in July.
