Chili Cook-off Stirs Up 96744 Fair At Castle

Community Works in 96744 and Castle High School will put on a “96744 Fair” from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 19 at the school, and there are plenty of ways to zip into the action.

Foods, plants, crafts, games, a petting zoo, pony rides, bouncers, kendama contest, dunking booth, farmers market and entertainment await, and there are three designs in multiple sizes of alumni T-shirts for sale ($10 to $14), with all proceeds going to school technology.

A chili cook-off between two Kaneohe car dealerships may be the highlight of the fair, as Windward Auto Sales (Dodge) and King Windward Nissan stir up their spicy offerings.

Vendors also are welcome, and booth fee is $25. Call Cindy at 233-5600, ext. 2236 or email chs44fair@gmail.com.
