• LIVING HISTORY Tropic Lightning Museum at Schofield Barracks presents Living History Day to the public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 13 with exhibits, activities, and displays of equipment, vehicles and uniforms. Hawaii Jitterbugs and the Bluegrass Barnstormer entertain. Call 655- 0438.
• FUN FAIR Kanoelani Elementary School has its Craft and Family Fun Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 13 at 94-1091 Oli Loop with plenty of games and food. Call 675-0195.
• STAR PARTY Hawaiian Astronomical Society brings its telescopes to Dillingham Airfield from 6 p.m. to midnight Oct. 13 for a monthly star-gazing party. The public is welcome but there’s restricted entry. Visit hawastsoc.org.
• BAND FEST The Leilehua and Mililani high school bands play in the 10th annual Menehune Classic marching band festival at 6 p.m. Oct. 13 at Moanalua High. Tickets cost $7 and $3 at the gate. Call 447-8522.
