California Student Seeks Hawaii-inspired Memorabilia For School Project

Hello, my name is Amelie Kalia McGrath. I am a fifth-grader at Napa Valley Language Academy in Napa, Calif.

The reason I am writing to you is because my class is doing state reports, and I have chosen your beautiful, welcoming state, Hawaii. I would be very grateful if you and your readers would send pamphlets, postcards, souvenirs or anything else that would be cool or useful. I used to live on Oahu, and let me just say it is amazing.

I will be writing about your state’s agriculture, history, economy, famous people, events, national parks and historical figures. I also will be doing an oral report, state float and Microsoft PowerPoint presentation.
