She is responsible for fund development, including trusts and foundations, individuals, corporations and the annual gala. She also oversees the HUGS brand and all media relations.

She is responsible for the intake, assessment and follow-up of family referrals to HUGS, and actively supports HUGS families and potential HUGS families through the hospital outreach program. She also participates in HUGS programs to support seriously ill children and families through respite activities, support groups, sibling and parent support activities, and other aid programs.
