Bring Your Stuff To Niu Valley To Recycle

Niu Valley Middle School will have an Aloha ‘Aina recycling drive Jan. 25 to support its programs (through redemption payments) and clean up the community.

The drive will be open from 9 a.m. to noon, sponsored by Kokua Hawaii Foundation, Schnitzer Steel and several other recycling businesses.

Volunteers will collect scrap metal, batteries of all kinds, computers, game systems, paper, corrugated cardboard, newspaper, HI-5 bottles and cans, used cooking oil, printer and toner cartridges, used appliances and more. Goodwill can make use of clothing and other household items in good condition.
