Bling it on Personally at the 11th Annual Oh Baby! Family Expo
After being crowned Mrs. Hawaii in 2003, Cheryl Morales says, she developed an eye for bling. She started by adding rhinestones to her own wardrobe, but soon others noticed and wanted some sparkle too. So she decided to turn her hobby into a small business, and four-and-a-half years ago launched Bling it on Personally, a webstore that creates customized/personalized rhinestone motifs that can be applied to most fabric garments. “I’m super excited to sparkle every infant, toddler, girl and woman with my designs,” says Morales, who also works as president of mechanical insulation company American Industrial Inc. “I believe ‘you’ deserve to sparkle. This is what my vision has been and will continue to be.”

For the first time, Morales brings Bling it on Personally to the upcoming Oh Baby! Family Expo Oct. 11 and 12 at Neal Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. The expo will have more than 150 vendors catering to families with newborns and children up to 12 years old. Shop the latest fashion
trends, find ideas for your baby’s first birthday party, get information on schools and local play centers, learn how to child-proof your home, take part in a Stroller Strides/Stroller Barre workout and more. There also will be a Baby Crawling Contest, an appearance by Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, a magic show by Mark Mauricio, a keiki fashion show, a junior chef class by Williams-Sonoma, an etiquette class, an Ohana Music Together class and much more.
The Oh Baby! Family Expo also encompasses Hawaii’s Toy & Game Expo, featuring some of the hottest toys and games today, including a Flower Sticks demonstration, Pokemon card gaming and tournament, kendama tournament, Diablo/Chinese yo-yo demonstration, Jitter Ring demonstration, yo-yo demonstration and giveaway, Attacknids Battle Arena and family boardgame area.
