Fighting Eel has welcomed a new addition to its family – a resort wear line called Ava Sky.
The collection is available at Fighting Eel in Chinatown and Kailua, and features a great selection of kaftans, dresses, pants, tops and coverups.
“Whether you are hanging out by the sandy shore, drinking cocktails on a lawn or weekend island-hopping, Ava Sky’s combination of substance and style will let you do it all,” says Lan Chung, who co-founded Fighting Eel in 2003 with childhood friend Rona Bennett. “Ava Sky came about because we saw a shift in demand for this type of clothing from our customers. Just like Fighting Eel, we make what we want to wear and what customers ask for.”
The line, which is named after Chung’s 2-year-old daughter Ava Sky Agor, officially launched this month.
Also, stop by Fighting Eel for its new fall line, which released over the weekend, and mark your calendar for a big Fighting Eel event in late September to celebrate the second anniversary of its Chinatown store.
