Learn the skills needed to respond appropriately to respiratory and cardiac emergencies and get trained how to operate an AED in case of a sudden cardiac emergency. Zwick Art
1041 Maunakea St., July 29 to Sept. 20, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., $1800 plus $150 for materials. Instructors William Zwick and Tanvi Pathare, graduates of the Florence Academy of Arts, teach this course. Stars’ Night Out
Ko‘olau Ballrooms at the Ko‘olau Golf Club, 6 p.m., $55/person, $440/tables of 8. The Hawaii State Theatre Council holds its annual Star’s Night Out featuring Po‘okela Awards.
