Finally, the Apple Watch has a solid release date: Friday, April 24! We were all awed by the iPhone’s initial release in 2007; let’s see if this will have the same awe factor. With Apple Watch’s 38or 42-mm watch face, you’ll have access to thousands of apps, including Twitter, Instagram and a bunch of different games. You’ll be able to answer calls from your iPhone, send messages and read emails right from your wrist.

In Apple’s press release, CEO Tim Cook stated, “Apple Watch begins a new chapter in the way we relate to technology, and we think our customers are going to love it. We can’t wait for people to start wearing Apple Watch to easily access information that matters, to interact with the world, and to live a better day by being more aware of their daily activity than ever before.”

Some of the watch’s highlights include the Taptic Engine (alerts you with a gentle tap so you won’t miss important notifications); Digital Touch (allows you to communicate by sending a sketch, a tap or even the rhythm of your own heartbeat), or of course you can interact quickly and conveniently with the world around you with Apple Watch by paying for your coffee using Apple Pay; board a plane with a Passbook boarding pass, or raising your wrist to ask Siri for turn-by-turn directions in Maps. It will also feature an 18-hour battery life.

You can preorder beginning April 10, and prices range from $349 to $10,000-plus.

Click Chick’s Mobile App of the Week: Trivia Crack

For months Trivia Crack has been one of the most popular apps in American app stores, boasting 125 million-plus users and 800,000 daily downloads, and now it recently expanded with a UK version. As popular as it is, I found out about Trivia Crack from my co-worker, since I’ve been trying to avoid addictive games such as this.

If you haven’t heard about it, it’s a game show-style quiz app where you spin a colorful wheel, then you have to answer a trivia question from one of six categories: geography, science, history, sports, art and entertainment.

To win, you need to obtain a crown in each of these categories before your opponent does. You win these crowns by correctly answering three questions in a row or landing on the purple crown icon. The game works similarly to other popular social games, such as Words with Friends or QuizUp, and you can invite others to play on Facebook.

You play your friends in battles of pride, valor and trivia. Each player spins the wheel, and Trivia Crack poses fun and creative multiple choice questions in an intuitive, easy-to-use interface. You can submit your own questions, which other players can rate after answering as “Boring” or “Fun.” The game is ever-growing with a diverse set of questions, and so far more than 200,000 questions have been submitted by users with approximately 2,000 new questions added each day.

If you want to start getting hooked on this game, it’s free for your iOS, Android and Windows devices.
