Aiea Public Library Grand Opening

Aiea Public Library celebrated the grand opening of its new facility July 19. Located at 99-372 Pohai Place — up the street from the old branch on former sugar mill property — the new building replaces one that had served the community for 50 years. The library has space to stock up to 78,000 books and 8,000 DVDs and CDs, and it offers free wireless Internet and accessible parking.
