Adoptable Pets In Ewa Jan. 4-5

Pets and their parents are invited to Ewa Petco from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday when it celebrates its first anniversary with Customer Appreciation Weekend.

The free event features workshops that include discussions of nutrition, freshwater and saltwater fish, birds and small animals.

Puppy playtime for small breeds takes place 10:30 a.m. Saturday, and for larger dogs at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

A fashion show and best trick contests are on Saturday, with prizes going to top winners.

Also available during the event are complimentary drinks and snacks.

Adoptable pets from the Hawaiian Humane Society and Oahu SPCA will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days.
