2016 Sony Open in Hawaii
Honolulu Star-Advertiser hosted guests in a skybox at Waialae Country Club during the Sony Open in Hawaii earlier this month. Guests were treated to some great golf, as veteran Brandt Snedeker was in the lead or near it for three rounds. But in the final round, Fabian Gomez of Argentina made seven birdies in a row, caught Snedeker and won on the second playoff hole with another birdie to edge Snedeker — his 11th birdie in 20 holes that day. It was his second PGA Tour win.
